Not crying "nerf" or anything. Just wondering if LOS was supposedly fixed or not, I thought it was. However yesterday I was sitting INSIDE a cantina and a group member got poisoned OUTSIDE the cantina and the rest of the group inside all got hit as well. So, if this was said to be fixed, well it really wasn't. Just giving the CMs some info, those of you who are actually CMs I mean.

I have a feeling that this is one of those bugs that are really hard to fix.

The Kitten's Diary, Day 781: I have discovered a most delightful way of making life miserable for my captors. Yesterday, I ate the woman's precious begonia, and today I have dismembered the amaryllis in the bedroom window. She is furious over the loss of her darling house plants! I find it highly gratifying.

From a pure coding perspective, it should be easy. We have LOS checks between thrower and primary targets. So adding LOS checks between the primary target and secondary targets should be easy to code.

The problem is, LOS checks are fairly processor intensive. Doing one LOS check per attack is probably acceptable. But if 20 people are in the blast radius of an area attack, doing 20 LOS checks would probably create a ton of lag. So to fix this in an acceptable manner probably is hard.

Apparently not. Correspondents bring it to the attention of the Devs fairly regularly.....Not much more that the CM community can do about it.
