If you're x4xx fire sticks about half the time in PvE, poision seemed to (in my experience) stick a bit less. I haven't played with them in PvP though.

I know that I'm currently CM 43x4 and my DOTs rarely ever stick and I don't imagine them getting much better with just one more box in the line. I have heard, however, that if you decide to go CMx4xx then you can use skill tapes to get your Medical Warfare Efficiency up to the level of a MCM. I know that when I tried MCM during respec my DOTs hit almost all the time.

Thanx for the input guys ..... im now CM 44xx and lastnight whilst being overt in theed and karen i found that all the DOTS were very stickey indeed, even on jedi

However the pve situation is very different, not nearly as sticky there

Being able to poison, infect and set fire to a jedi more than makes up for the pve side of things though

am now going back up CM , but whan i was a MCM, i felt that they stuck much more in PvP, than in PvE, remmeber that the dots are not that usefull in PvE anyway.

I know that when u do face jedi u kinda have to use some of the dots of the MCM. i would persoinally use deturium. and poisen. wiht electrolyets.

i found i didn't reallynotice i missed many as 44x4 in terms of my dots until i went MCM where i almost never miss - it was this that made me realise i'd just got used to the missing as 44x4 and sort of blanked it out. consequently i think i found as MCM i was using DOTs alot more too - since they stickied that much better - it completely changed the way i pvp. in group pvp (honestly i don't use much else than throid in PVE) i draw much less agro from my opponents using MCM stuff than i did with straight out normal attacking (as a rifleman) but do far more 'damage' tactically now without being singled out as a hard hitter.

IMO you may find it frustrating as only 44xx in terms of throwing dots
