Its probably because I was only a CM3weeks before 9.3 but it seems that I still have success wiht CM in PvP. In fact, every large PvP battle in which I've been involved has included CMs. My role is to throw poisons as I go after the opposing CM cuz he's usually a CM/Doc and has very little combat. My poisons and pistols usually take him out preventing the area cures. Do my poisons stick as often as before? No. Do I need to throw more often and actually USE my combat skills? Yes. Does this make PvP more fun? YES! Killing your foes before you get any action isnt much fun in my opinion so this was a good patch in my opinion as long as you are willing to evolve and adapt. . .

It will take several weeks before we really know if we are still effective or not. The area cures haven't really filtered out to every docyet (particularly the casual PVPers). Templates haven't been reworked. New CM tactics to overcome cures haven't been adopted.

Nice to see folks still getting it done. I haven't been pvping as much lately, with everyone wanting badges been running assasination on the vette non stop. It is so nice to have ppl really wanting a cm around to kill someone for them
But I have seen cm's do well in some fights, just need good group tactics, oour days of running solo and killing ppl left and right are gone, and that is a good thing. But in a large battle we still have a job.

We've been testing area cures in Canejo and they do what they're supposed to do, no doubt about it.We havent tested the buffs yet but really until they last 3 hours i dont see them being effective... die once and they're gone anyway...save teh CMs for the second wave of attacks.
