Thread: What should I get?

Ok, I want to become a CM for those nice ranged stims, but can only put up to 3 skill boxes in one line, what should I go for?

put all three in CM support.


This will give you access to Ranged C stims and Area B stims.


Then find a CM crafter who will sell you high quality experimented advanced componentrange and power stims. I would sell you these, but im on Chilastra

and just so you understand


CM is not very "dabble" friendly, as you really need to invest a lot of skill points to get the usefull skills. the "A" level CM meds are all totally useless.


your range will be severely limited unless you can spare some more skills for the ranged tree.

Hmm, well I know for a fact that it will be a whle till I'm a MCH, thats what I'm really saving the points for, But, regular ranged-A's do about how much healing, and what is the ranng on them? I hope more then 7m

well from what i have crafted myself with advanced components my A's do about 250-275 and have a range of 16M or so. all lots of experimentation can be uses around and whith these i went for healing power over charges/range. i would be interested in hearing what other MCM's can make from them but to me it looks like they are stim B's with 15M+ range.

Ok, I can have up to 3 boxes in one skill line if I get doctor, what should I go up in? Iwant Doctorso I can heal for large amount of damage...

I am currently a BH and working my way to MBH. With change to BH class I have 63 extra points if I drop the Scout stuff I don't need. I already haveUnarmed 4, because I was going to go Smuggler before. I have always enjoyed unarmed combat, so I am thinking of adding some TKA skills to my profession.


So what do you guys think?


I have enough points to get 4 boxes on 3 of the skill trees and have one completely blank or I can have 2 4's and 2 2's. Example: 4/4/4/0 or 4/2/2/4.


You guys are the master's of this profession, what skills are the best for PvE or PvP?

I recommend the first three (left to right). Meditating on level 4 gets rid of the need for a medic/doctor to heal you, Unarmeddizzy2 lets you knockdown and dizzy the target so it doesn't get up again, and the third tree is damage and speed. Go 4/4/4/0. That seems to be the best for what you described.

Currently TKA, by itself, isn't really suited for PvP. Most people have 80-90% resistence to our only damage type. And I don't think TKA 4440 + MBH is going to help you bag any Jedi (with at least Master Lightsaber).


But, as long as you don't care about the chemical warfare-fest that is PvP these days then I recommend MBH+TKA 4440; if you're bound and determined to get and keep MBH.


You may also want to consider going TKM+BH 4440 until the CB. You'll be able to get MBH back pretty quickly if you give it up with that and you'll get a nice experience as a TKM.


If you're really determined to fight Jedi as a TKA then you may want to consider TKM+BH3000+Fencer0400. As a TKM/BH template that probably gives you the best chance and the best defense vs. state effects.


Or if you want to really try out a meleer character do what I did and start a new character on another server. I'm working towards TKM, Master Swordsman and Master Brawler right now with a second character. Its fun and it gives me something to do while they attempt to fix BH (weapon switch delay kind of killed my fun with my MBH). And when they do balance this game (crosses fingers) I'll have two characters with different styles that are masters in their chosen style. Which I think will be fun for me and lets me experience more that the game has to offer.

I am already takin master medic and doc, but dont know what combat pro. to get. I was thinkin about gettin commando, but they dont have any specials. What do you guys think I should take?
