Thread: Are the Bacta toss enhancers busted?

I bought some and tried to see how they worked. I assumed that when you used bacta toss it would use a charge and enhance that heal, however, it did not. The heal was the same, and if you clicked on Bacta toss it did not use a charge. But if you clicked on the enhance toss stim it would give the same effect as a Bacta toss. I am assuming that the jab enhancer is the same.


Granted I am not going full CM, I was 4000 and I could heal with toss for 250, with only novice I hit for 150. The enhancers do not seem to add any percentage to a heal, is this intended, if so what is the point of an enhancer?

Did you try adding them to your hotbar and using them from there? They work for me.

Well I can use them without hitting /bactatoss if thats what you mean. But are these suppose to enhance?

You need to drag the med to you hotbar and click on the enhancer instead of the command. The command does not automatically use the med from your inventory.

You use the enhancers instead of the specials. Like others have said, place the enhancer in your toolbar in place of the bacta toss icon.

A 1000 efficiency enhancer gives a 15% bonus to healing and the poison/fire ticks.

I think the max is about 1200-1300 on the enhancers.

Well worth it for the heals, but perhaps not so much for the poison/fire unless you are PvP'ing.

Jack, in your other thread you said you were healing for 350 per toss, now in this thread it's 250. But what I don't understand is that if you are 4000 CM, you should be healing for well over 500 points per toss, using the advanced version of the skill. You are using the CM versions of the skill right?

Master CMwith throwing enhencer on my hot bar

bactic spray 850

bactia throw 300

Nerotoxion enhencer 725

Thiriod enhcncer 725


My bactiaspray with out meds400 to 500 each preson

with spray 400 to 500


My bactia throw with out mids 600 to 675 with the med

450 to 500


My nerotoxion 225 to 275 per tick with meds

225 to 275


My thriod No idea it sticks for 2min

with med it sticks for 2 min


So there broken or there useless either way i out 140 k becuase nertoxoin and thiriod is 65 k each.


here is some food for thought


instaint stim D heal for 1200 a pop

jedi heal is over 1000 a pop

best Master Combat Medic heal is 700

best Master Doctor heal is 800

dose this seem broken that a non medic can out heal master ?


Wouldn't you think that a Combat medic and a Doctor be the best healer in the land ?

not a combat level 60 or higher with no medical skill

Ugh! I wish I had known this last night! I was having an issue telling how soon I could use naother heal, because the graphics just didn't have enough contrast with the enhancer in my toolbar. So I put the little pictures up there, so I could see, and was wondering why my heals SUCKED so bad last night! And here I was trying to keep people alive on the darn Ryatt Trails.

Well I recently downgraded to novice CM, because before I wanted Pistoleer/Smuggler, but those two proffessions are too closely related. So I am now a Carbineer/Smuggler/Novice CM, this may explain the discrepancies. I wonder if taking novice Doc would be a little more effective.


I know the little Doc I am taking is practically useless, but at least on Lowca, there is a major absense of anyone who wants to play a healer.

First off let me say that you need to look at healing amounts on a larger scale. Example you seem to think that because the Stim D can heal for 1200 pts that it might be better than the medic skills. This is not true in any way. Further more the Jedi can heal for 1500 per heal as well as having an infusion running that heals for around 250 pts every 10 secs for about 1 min. If you compare these numbers you will find something like this....


Jedi heal 4500 pts in 18 secs


CM's can heal 4500 in 27 secs


Those using stim D's will need 4 mins in order to heal 4800 pts.


So the best healing you can get in the game is certianly the Jedi's Force Heal, But the CM's can do a pretty good job as well


I am a Jedi / CM / BH.....I rarely ever use my Force Heal....Just the Batca Spray (no enhancers) but the numbers above where found while using both the batca spray and the bacta toss.


Just FYI so no one gets the wrong idea about CM skills. They are adventages in PvP 1 on 1 or in groups.


As for the enhancer, I try not to depend on things that I have to buy, although I have an alt account that is a BE / Chef who is working to make up some enhancers for my main to use. But I doubt that I will concern my self with them as I have yet to need them.
