Thread: Timer on Paralyze?
I guess the icon on the target window describes it as lasting 12 seconds?? The reset timer seems to be exactly the same, allowing you to -most the time- keep your targetindefinitelyparalyzed through reapplications. I usually paralyze add-on's, pop off two shots at the groups main target, and then reapplyparalyze on the add-on without my enemy even getting a single attack in between. Depending on lag or laziness, I might not apply it fast enough to prevent them attacking again, however I've never had an enemy get an attack in between paralyzes if I perform a thryroid rupture onthem whilethey're paralyzed.

I believe the range for paralyze is 5m, and I believe thyroid rupture is 10m (not sure, since I usual fit it in during initial debuffs while maintaining paralyze). Also, my above comments were referring to the paralyze given at Master CM. As for leviticus,which version of paralyze do you have? maybe explainsthe shorter duration/longer reset you experience.

Paralyze distance is 10 meters (be at nine tho just to be safe)
At MCM paralyze lasts for 12 seconds, exactly the ammount of time it takes the cool down timer to go. Without interference or DoT you can keep a mob paralyzed as long as your mind holds out and you remember to babysit them.
That said, nothing aggravates me more than when I have some johnny-come-lately mob nice and pinned and a group member damages them.
Oh wait....loot whores aggravate me more, but not much.
