Thread: Returning player with last minute respec template question
I've decided to come back and give the game a try and after a lot of reading (and I admit not enough play testing.....damn rl!), my final respec template will be:
Master Combat Medic
Master Carbiner
Doc 4000
Currenly, I have enough points to do the following:
Marksman 0044
Medic 4440
Combat Medic 0000 (novice box only)
Carbiner 0110
At this point I have 9 elite points left and will be CL22.
What do you guys recommened for the last 9 points?
The best options seem to be (in no particular order):
1. Pick up another first tier Carbiner box - 1110 (this wastes 1 elite point)
2. Pick up a second tier Carbiner box - 0210 or 0120 (no elite points wasted)
3. Pick up Novice Doc 0000 (2 elite points wasted)
I'm leaning towards picking up more carbiner skills (no real reason, just a "gut" feeling that at this point more carbiner skills will make leveling easier) but I really want to get CM going as well. Anyway, let me know what you guys (and gals) think and thanks in advance for the advice.

If group adventuring, it's quite easy ( assuming you can take the beating ) to gain medic XP. /bactaSpray deals outhealth in an area effect radius, which is very likely to heal at least one party member ( if you're not spread out all over the place ), and qualify you for XP.
As a result, I'd spend the point on a second-tier carabiner box, and trust that group adventuring will allow you to pick up the medical XP for both CM and doc easily.
