My template is Master combat medic, Master pistols, 4000 Doctor.

This template gives options to do anything in game, I have tons of healing ability, and with the right foods, very little mind cost.

Now, tactics for 1v1 duels.
warning: if you do not have LOTS of mind regen foods, this tactic almost NEVER works

Paralyze to start off with.

You can use hemorage, shock and thyrode rupture.

Then use another paralyze.

Use Truamatize, electrolite drain and run to 30m.

I then use deterium toss, and neurotoxin (i dont use infect in duels all that often).

it's very important that it's done in that order, so the paralyze doesnt break.

i then kite, and root, intimidate shot from pistoleer, warning shot and others are nice aswell.

Its very hard to die with this template, as you have great healing, but this template is mostly suport.

(oh, i've dueled 30, maybe more people, 3 have beaten me, 5 have come to draws, and the rest i won)

Please, dont tell me "i could pwn you with my template you suck" because I dont care.

I just want to see if anyone has a template like this, and their tactics.

I have Master Combat Medic/Master Doctor/Pistoleer0040 on one of my toons - I haven't died or incapped for ages

I tried the template you're using with Master Pistols and liked it a lot too. Similar ability to not die.

I kept my Master Doc though because the buffs and suchlike help out more people when I'm grouping or with guildmates. I like Doctoring

In PvP I usually hit them with a hemmorage first, then follow with a firearm strike and paralyze combo. They can have all the speed they want as their action is going to be regening sloooow thanks to hemmorage. As a rifleman I stick with kneecap shot instead of electro drain to save on the mind pool which takes forever to regen.

Move to 30m+ and hit with a Dtoss. If they move slow then hit them with a nuero although its not good to risk a second DoT if you're up against a jedi or melee. Distance is your friend. If I need a quickie breather I use startle shot if the DoT's didn't stick or were healed which lasts 5 seconds. I always have a stim on the toolbar for an extra hp boost when I need it although I never could remeber to take ruby biel since they shortened the duration so much.

The firearm strike/paralyze combo is something everyone should try for themselves. The extra few seconds it takes for your opponent to realize that its worn off and hit the recovery button can make or break a fight.

In PvE I always start with a thyroid and save the paralyze incase there are multiple npc's of which some need a bit of crowd controlling. This works exceptionally good with base take downs although you really need TeamSpeak or Ventrillo to communicate with you group which npc's they shouldn't touch while you're crowd controling them. The others you can slip a thryoid slow but be prepared to use up alot of blue stuff in the process. Paralyze can by MIND pool intensive if chained.

Of all of our debuffs I've found only thyroid and hemmorage useful. The others I dont touch as they seem less efficient than what most other professions already have. Of course I use neuro and dtoss like they're going out of style.

my template is master combat medic, master bounty hunter and the last branch only 3 boxes in pistoleer for stopping shot works a charm in pvp and pve i find starting with a knockdown then paralize has a better affect as they cant get up when becasue they are paralised so u can hemarage electrolite drain and advanced thyroid rupture slows there combat speed loads (nice on jedi as well) then the root and some bh specials with fire and disease can never see, to get poison to work tho??? pvp with luck you can do knockdown around every 30 - 45 seconds once they down your damage is better so i try to keep them on floor alot in pve this dont work as well as they dont get knockdown as often. ability to heal is good in all situations

Brain has it right Put them on their back before you paralyze. Once I get in close and hit the debuffs and my dots, then fall back and use line of sight as much as possible. As an mcm/md 0004 pistoleer, and the fact that 90% of all pvp on chilastra is against jedi, your fine if you slow em down and stay out of saberthrow range. The cybernetic arms that increase range help a ton, once I've applied my poison/fire, I can run around. If they do get on me, I can usually heal myself fine until someone else gets them off. More than 2 on me it's game over, with just 2 you can keep one paralyzed.

Basically I'm support, just keep them busy until someone else comes along to kill them. That and I love to irritate cloaked jedi

mCombat Medic/mPistoleer/Smuggler 4xxx This combo works awesome, concussion shot is now on every one of my combat toons, its insanely useful, root shot that almost always roots, and recharges fast. The smuggler also gives me the ability to do Last Ditch, so that if i do f* up and get down, i can give them a little going away present, greatest laugh when they think they got you and you last ditch for 5k, priceless.

I have been thinking of this temp(MCM/MDOC). I am currently a MCM/MC XXX3 pistol temp (almost got the 4th box). I enjoy it, but I sometimes feel in the heat of a shizer-storm that I am ill equiped.I am not uber-ranged nor an uber-healer. I have over a million med xp banked, so I may make the plunge soon and grind up to Mdoc.....I'm just gonna miss my carbs......

When I think of what I enjoy most, it is helping my guildies and/or group succeed. The Mdoc/MCM temp is great in that regard. My only worry is missmatched groups (IE imps & rebs, combatant & on-leave etc) as my guild is multi-factional. I have reservations about going totally into a support temp that is little benefit to many of them in battle......Last night a guild jedi was smoked fighting Grievous by the lag monster, and I couldn't do crap to rezz him because he was a combatant and I was on leave. No ne else in the group was combatant so I couldn't even heal them to come off leave.

M. doc, M. cm, 0004 pistoleer.

IMO, one of the strongest dueling templates I know of (very similar to original poster's). I make sure I have doc buffs (adrenaline boost is a necessity).

Paralyze, shock, hemorage, paralyze, thyroid, fire, poison (I'll do a trauma before the dots if it is a cm or doc). From there, I just heal as needed and do a kd or stopping shot, coupled with me alternating between body shot and ranged shot.

I took down a master defender earlier today by outlasting his force bar, as well as many other jedi. With the right foods and buffs, I'm rarely beat. I was taken out, however by a rifleman using sniper shot with an uber rifle when I was waiting on a healing timer. I'm not claiming uberness, I just found a good template against jedi. But I will say that it helps that I've been a doc/cm for my entire time in this game, so I know the jist of being a healer.
