Combat Medic Archive

So currently I have CM 4-0-0-0.. and the rest in my combat professions.. I was wondering if I was to drop Combat medic and just have medic 0-4-0-0 and clothing that has + healing efficiency, could that noticably close the gap between the heals i get now and the heals i could expect with just medic 0-4-0-0?
