Thread: What does rancor bile do?

I have looted several things of rancor bile, and know they have power & charges atributes, so I am guessing they are used in making stims, however have not been able to figure out who uses them. I asked a bio-engineer and they said combat medic used them. Does anyone here know if they are worth anything. Also they are averaging 50 charges and 80 power...if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Rancor bile used to be for crafting Poisons and Diseases (and some other things). But as all crafting is now under Bio Engineers, you can let your BE know he can use it. It used to be substituted for 1 of the advanced components.
I keep saying "used to" because I am not a BE and am not sure if things changed.

What about some of the other stuff looted from kasyyyak creatures? Poison sacks, and mistinger horns, etc. Are they usefull for any thing?

Currently, they are only good for trading in to junk dealers for cash. I say currently, because I have a suspicion that they may become useable items in the future. The far, far distant future...

Just out of curiousity, do you get more for those than the other 30 credjunk you loot across the galaxy. I'm down their all the time, but never bothered collecting any to see.

Interesting, they changed the stats on rancor bile. Old ones used to be 70+ charges, and around 10 power.
The rancor biles replace ADM in some enhancer meds. Crafted advanced ADMs can getclose to 300 power, with around 35 charges, or lower power with around 75 charges. If you find any rancor bile over 250 power, I would say thats a keeper, especially if it high charge. It needs to be in a stack of 7-9 to be useable.

Well, in one trip through the Rryatt Trail, I came out with a ton of junk I looted from various creatures...sold it for just over 10k. Not a good way to get rich in this game, but respectable.
