Hey gang. Was just wondering what you guys use for armor? With some of the nasty encumbrances, do you bother? I've heard lately some people use buffed clothes instead?

Any opinions? I'm to the point where I've saved up enough cash to buy some good stuff, but would like to know what you guys think about it.

Currently I'm nearly a Carbine Specialist, and just waiting on ranged 4 to train novice CM.

i wear armor without the helmet...

head shot is so overpowered anyways...helmet aint gonna do anything...

I guess I should specify... if you wear armor, what kind do you wear? Is there any reason not to go to composite?

i wear chitin for pure looks...have seen composite but the mind cost is pretty high for the the different parts even without the helmet...

ubese isnt bad, but just a bit better than chitin...find chitin to be a good mix of protection and mind endurance...havent looked at padded much

In PvE - nothing. If mob starts hitting on me 20% less dmg would not do much good, on the other hand extra stats come in handy.
In PvP - Storm Trooper armor. 30% defence rocks.

yeah, it seems to me that buffed clothing would be far better. and stormtrooper/rebtrooper might be worth it without the headpiece

A mixture of buffed clothing and Chitin, and a PSGmk3 in the hotbar for when they shoot for the head
