Thread: Do we HAVE TO have a factory (so a house and eternal fees) ?
Hail all,
I saw that to make a Stimpack D i have touse 2 same parts that come from a factory.
Is it the same with the CM ranged stimpacks and poisons/diseases ? Or can we do them with a craft droid and the chemical tool ?
And do a range stimpack A healmore or the same as a non-range Stimpack C ?
Thanks for the infos !
Choup, soon CM if he don't need to buy a house for that ...
yes higher level packs need factory parts...
u dont need a factory you could always buy factory parts from some1 with a factory
the healing power on ranged stims are roughly one level above the same level stim
so ranged A will heal as much as Stim B, ranged B as much as C etc...
this is not exactly but roughly accurate...
I just layed down a factory yesterday. I highly recommend getting one. There are about 5 vendors I have seen who sell factory crates of bio effect controllers. So having a factory is not a requirement but it sure makes crafting stims easy. I love not having to experiment on every item. A factory can support several medics, so if you're low on funds, I suggest teaming up with another medic and split the cost. You don't need a house. Get a droid with a food/chem crafting module and just use that.
Well, the thing is, schematics are an EXACT plan for creating an item.
You know how each item has its own serial number? Well when you pull, lets say BEC's, from a crate they all have the same serial number on them. That number must match the serial number of the BEC you created the schematic with. Any other BEC, even if it is also factory created, will not work.
Basically you need to get all of your components that you are going to manufacture a run with first. Take a few of each of those components and create your schematic with them. Then you put the remainder of the components into the factory with that schematic and start your run.
Drev
You can still share a factory with the current bug, any administrator can acces the schematic slot, but only the owner can acces hoppers, ive helped a few smugglers and a chef out using mine for spices and foods, i also get docs to make schematics for my components.
the fees are actually not too bad, and if they get too hard on you theres always the possibility of stocking up on stims and then reclaim the factory-deed untill you need it again.
