Thread: Another Droid Question
After reading the previous thread on droids in combat med, I'm hoping to get further assistance in my choice of droids. Please advise/assist w/ the following questions:
- are there lvls of med modules? (ie. mouse med's only allow u to hl in cities or camps, etc, is this a limitation of the droid or the module?)
- is a hovering droid better? what types of hovering droids r there? (it sounds as tho u can't retrieve ur droid in the field - maybe this is just the case for the surgical droid - and he has to follow u away from a camp - difficult for an R-series droid- bumping into rocks, etc)
- can a droid be combat/med/crafting or are there limitations to modules? since we r combat meds & usually share in receiving cr, should we be more concerned w/ a combat droid than a crafting droid. Assuming we can buy hi lvl meds & assist better in combat.
Thanks tons for reading/posting ( :

1) thier are levels to med modules, currently no difference on the regular server, on the "big patch"(tm) they made the modules work different. Currently when you are in a medical center you get a boost to your healing amount, once med modules are working the higher level ones will give you a bigger boost then the lower level ones, however none will be equal to a medical center.
2) Droid shape is meaningless, all that matters are the modules. I use a dz-70 with a medical module, beccause it floats so it stays with me better. the only other floating droid are the probots. You can get a mouse droid with a medical module that is smaller then the r2 units. Don't group with your doid and it has almost no chance of being attacked, group with it and it becomes a target if you are a target.
3) If you get a probot they can handle the attacking and I think still ahve room for crafting and a medical module, IIRC. However I went CH since a novice CH has far better attack/defense capabilties then the best attack droid so I cannot really comment on that.
