Thread: CM, Doc, Teras Kasi... Feasible?

I was thinking about possibly doing a Master CM, Doc, and almost going up to Master on Teras Kasi... If I was to do this though I'd have to drop my artisan skills to do so... Is this feasible?

I know how much of a pain it is to get the resources, but I really haven't had too much trouble up til now... Although I haven't quite yet hit the master medic level...

I could get artisan skills up to surveying 4 and drop 16 points off my available sc's... But then that would only leave me with 38 points left for teras kasi...I could drop some of the doc line to compensate for this...

Also with our ranged stims would that make it a feasible option to go unarmed? I figured the ranged poisons could be my pulling method for my ranged attack... And then my ranged stims would allow me to heal my fellow teammates that are shooting with the ranged guns... What do you all think? Really need some advice on this...

TKA and doc i can see...but CM...

first of all for the most part u will be tanking...so mostly likely u will be healing urself...

ranged stims are nice but if ur mostly healing urself what use is it...

dots would be nice to pull with, but u know they suck...they get resisted too much to be a reliable pull tool..in fact if a mob resists ur poison it wont attack u..it only attacks on the first tick.

no survey will be hard to deal with if u plan on crafting ur packs...and if ur not crafting u packs then u will get into a whole other issue of if u should just drop crafting and master 3/4 of a tree and give up master vs getting crafting and getting master and crafting and spending more points...

my biggest issue with any tank being a medic is mind...in a ugly fight while u are tanking u are going to be taking mind damage...this is gonna hurt in a long fight...you do not want to drain the mind pool any faster than its already draining from tanking...mind damge in PvE in long fights is a huge issue...

u have to realize now u will be basically draining ur mind pool faster...u just have to realize the trade off u are making to be able to heal...

there is no reason u cant do this...just leads to many issues...

Not even close.

Master CM and Master Doc leaves you with 18 points left. You couldn't hit TK at all.

In CM you have to get marksman. If you go TK it's a waste of points anyways.

you couldnt master all 3....there may be soem nice combination of all 3, but i dotn think thats likely. Master tka/doc is most likely the best route easily for you to go.

By cutting out on some of the skills in the doctor line and if I drop some of my additional skills... I think it would be possible to master tka if not get really close... So you guys think that I would be waisting my time to go with a tka route and still have the combat medic? The cm class looks very appealing to me... But I don't want to just sit back and heal... And personally rifle is getting rather boring, even though I love being able to do over 1.4k mind damage in one single shot... Really helps me nail down the xp...

Let me try and get some clarification on things... What exactly would be the difference if I just went with the doc route? What about just the combat medic? What exactly would the two offer me in difference with each other? And how would just being a doctor and not the cm work? Or could I be a cm and not the doctor? Sorry for all the questions, but atm I'm not really sure what the key differences between the two are... Only that cm's get the ranged heals and poisons ect...

Let me add to that previous post slightly... If I go CM and TK... Then I would most likely not have any of the doctor line, and if I did it would just be 1 or 2 things within the line... Right now as it stands for me to master TKA and CM, it would take me a total of 131 points... 5 for my last ranged support... and 63 from each of the two trees... Now, this would either leave me with artisan skill only up to surveying 1, or I could drop them all together and get a couple of the doctor skills... So I have to take that into consideration as well... I know that could be hard to gather the resources, but atm I'm not having trouble finding them as it is... Does it get that much harder the further up the tree I will progress up in CM, and is it feasible to do that? And is there any plans to make medical harvesting a more useful means for us to get our resources in the future?

I dont think you cant have both master CM and TKA. You would be shortby about 11points. The problem is that you have to take some marksman skills as well as brawling in order to get CM and TKA. Correct me if im wrong but I dont think its possible.

The Woodpile

Range Support = 29pts

Master Medic = 77pts

Master Combat Medic = 63pts

Brawling = 29pts

TKS = 63pts

TOTAL = 261pts
