to use at least mid-range poisons?
Im trying to make a master pikeman with combat medic to be a backup healer in groups and to increase my damage a bit.
will 4/0/0/4 do? Im planning on buying my poison kits, not crafting them.
Yes that is the best you can do. If you go for that you will be able use up to disease/poison c's and area b's, and have as much range as possible without going master.

can I still use ranged C's. If not, I dont mind sacrificing range 3/0/04 for it, im melee after all.
in a nutshell im trying to make a melee class that fights with dots as primary damage, that can be both either a primary damage dealer/tank and an excellent support (healing, crowd control).
my template for this bothan is Novice Carbineer, Marksman 0/0/4/4, master medic, combat medic 4/0/0/3 (or 3/0/04) , brawler 0/0/0/4, master pikeman.
I can open fight by stacking carbine action bleeds, throw an action poison as target runs towards me, then stack the pikeman bleeds (which are huge, like 6k a tick). and to boot i can heal myself and range heal others. For support i get the ranged support abilities in marksman which will let me threaten shot aggros off others as I run to pike 'em.
the only **edit** in this template is the CM poison using ability ... can the 3/0/04 use poison c's? or can i still use them with 4/0/0/3?
