Thread: Aspiring CM needing advice
Hello all,
I am currently close to mastering Commando and I have Pistoleer 0/0/3/0. Now I am trying to decide whether to spend the rest of my SP's on CM or Doc. First I would like to know IF I do go CM which trees should I take and how far should I take them? I am completely open to dropping Pistoleer, the def is nice from that tree, but not essential. I would like to be able to craft my own stims and poison/disease packs, but again that is not critical.
Second, do you think this would be a more effective secondary than doctor. I do PvP from time to time, but I normally PvE solo. How much do your Health poison/diseases do on avg? What, in your opinion, would be a better gameplan: Toss a Health poison and then close for Flames? or just run in gung ho commando with some nice doc buffs on me? Do you think that dropping Pistoleer and losing those def would be a viable choice and would adding CM or doc skills make up for the difference.
Sorry if this is kind of rambling, I am at work and a bit groggy. ![]()
One last though, I spend most of my day at work checking out the different boards (Hey, the boss said to raise productivity, but he never said in what area.) I just want you guys to realize that out of the different professions I have looked at you guys have a very goodcorrespondant working for you. Few of the others keep in touch with their base audience as well as what it seems yours does. Gratz on that.

Poisons and diseases are not very effective unless you are a master, not to mention they act VERY slowly in comparrison to a flame thrower.
If you go for CM, the major benifit would be the ranged AoE stims. They are SO much better than Doc stims; but if you solo alot then Doc would probably suit you more.
The Support tree on the far right is the tree to climb first if you go CM. This gives you the CM med use to use higher power stims as well as +40 terrain negotiation.
Being able to buff yourself as a doc, is awesome. If you have a supplier, you can get away with 0,2,3,0 Doc and have some decent C buffs (0,2,4,0 for experimented D buffs) which should get you +400 to +700 to every stat.
