I am a master combat medic, I also went up the doc tree enough to get rez and enhance. I am going up the pistoleer tree just to get fan shot. Right now I am really running low on skill points though. I would like to keep just a little scout so I can harvest hides/meat...we'll see!

I enjoy my combat medic profession so much. I found a holocron and I just stuck it in my bank because I do not want to give up combat medic at this time! I suppose one of these days I will get fed up with the medical profession and open the thing.

I'm experimenting with combat medic and rifleman - I'm hoping that the mind bleed combined with mind poison will prove effective in PvP.

I'm experimenting with a MCM/Smuggler Dirty Fighting/Slicing right now. I was going MCM/Master Pistoleer but i wasnt doing enough damage and was constantly poor. Now with dirty fighting you have the low blow/panic shot combination for pvp with last ditch effort for the killing blow, plus I'll have slicing so I have some sort of income. Working up right now im master CM and am 0210 in smuggler right now so havent been able to try out anything for damage yet. Ill keep everyone informed of my progress.

Chikitta,

Mind bleed and poison are very effective. I'm not a master inneither combat medic nor rifleman, but I can hold my own. In group pvp, it isvery nice. Just take out their docs/medics. =) heck take everyone out

I was wondering the same thing about others.

I have:

Master CM

Doc 3-4-0-0

Artisan 0-0-0-4

novice pistoleer

I do miing and surveying to make money as well as sell stim b's, I have been thinking about giving up my doctor skills to put more in pistoleer so I can do better PvP.

Im doing the same thing, except with a carbine and to the action pool. Cant beat Carbineer KD for slowing things down, plus bleed 1 + bleed 2 + action poison will do nasty things to mobs action pools. I have some doc skills for res and buffing as well.

i'm a CM/carbineer, and will have to give up my spare scout skills once i get close to mastering carbineer.

the healing bit helps with the carbine, and i'm hoping that carbineer gets better at master

I've found an awesome template that I'm very proud of:

MCM, Doctor (444x), Marksman (3xx4), and whatever else you have SP for.

Cures poison, disease, cure all status effects. Res, and can use Enhance D's as long as they're experimented down from 91 med use to 90 med use.

My strongest Mind Poison is 304/123... it ticks for 608 andn has never been resisted. Now, for the kicker.

I have a speed-sliced speed-experimented Spraystick, powered up with a 'hair trigger grip of reckoning'. It has 1.0 speed after the mods. I throw Mind Poison, let it tick twice, and then let loose the /headshot2 to finish people off.

wow, lots of CM/doc hybrids...

at the moment, i'm 2 3 2 2 carbineer, 2 1 3 4 combat medic (working on master), and 0 2 2 2 doctor (was going to be doctor wheni dropped BH, but decided to go with CM instead...believe it or not, the thing that made me go CM instead wasn't the mind poison...it was terrain negotiation--LOL)

when i'm done, i'll be master carbineer, master combat medic...my reasoning:

i was a 2 4 4 4 BH before...then got even more powerful when i dropped back to BH Carb 4, and picked up 0 3 2 0 Carbineer, and 1 1 4 4 Medic...at that point, i could easily go run around on my own, w/o pets or armor, on Dantooine and do just fine. solo missions were difficult but the pay was worth it, and money came in nicely. since i'd like to KEEP being able to solo difficult places (can't *always* be in a group), i wanted a combat profession that would give me some options for making space and keeping me from taking too much damage. soooo...i looked at the ranged weap trees, and decided to go with Carbineer since it has suppressionfire2, and charge shot 1. additionally, actionshot2 gets a cone effect right now, and bleeds nicely, which combines with fullautoarea2 and wildshot2 to give me some respectable options for use against groups of mid level creatures...mamiens on yavin 4 will be easy with action area poison, actionshot 2, fullautosingle2...against individual targets, i'll be able to use action poison, ac shot 2, ac shot 1, charge shot 1, and hammer away with burst shot 1 or leg shot 3.

I'm currently MCM, Scout 4,0,0,0 (can't give up those extra TN skills and I like being able to harvest for the necessary organics) and Pistoleer 1,1,0,2 ( going for 3,2,0,2 I really want BodyShot 3)

A possible variation to this is to drop Scout, at some point in the future when I dont have to worry about gathering my own resources, to gain more Pistoleer skills

You might be horribly dissappointed in BS3. It's barely any better then BS2 and has a much longer delay and pool cost.
