Do you think it is better to have regular components with 900+ resources, or Advanced Components with 500+ resources?

It depends on the use. For PvP, I make the very best stuff I can. For PvE, I just make so-so stuff.

Right... but would you rather, for PVP, have a Biological Effect Controller that was made from 900+ materials, or would you rather have an Advanced Biological Effect Controller that was made from 500 Materials?

I have never tested this fully. But I am almost certain that adv is still going to be better. When I was making Medics components, If I made a normal one and an advanced one, the advanced one would start at the top of the best normal one I could make, so the advanced one would still be better.

I agree. Even if the resources are inferior (which happens often because of planet spacific demands and such) for Adv. components, It seems better to make them than good non advanced.

Crappy adv are still better than great regular.
