Thread: Poison Damage at 0044

I only PvE. I am considering going 0044 for the poison damage. What sort of damage can I expect to inflict with this setup. Any concerns about this setup from those of you in the know? Thanks.

If you make your owni wouldn't expect to get much more then 100 or so damage a Tick.....If you buy them then you might get up around 200 or so a tick.
Effectiveness is the main stat that makes your poisons and heals do more then just the base amount...and you don't have much in that Spec, a More effective Spec would be 4004.....But then you would have yo buy you own poisons and that can get Expensive at costs of usualy 2k a poison for a good one.

on starsider i sell poisons for 5295 (singles)
mind you they are very good quality and starsider has serious inflation issues.

I am 0043 at the moment.
I was doing 300-350 with Poison-C's, and about 75-125 with AE-Poison-A's I made myself last night. I think there is definitely room for a CM dabbler to do 0044.
I had to experiment the C's down to 50 CM Med use, but in doing so the potency went up to 110+, so I didn't really mind the trade off.
Can't *quite* use AE-Poison-B's at 0043, but I am sure that 0044 could (I got the Med Use down to 55 when I tried it).
Combining the Area + Normal poison meant 400-450 per tick total.
The final stats of my Poison-C's were (2/3 Adv Comps, we have no Class1 on Chimaera) variable, as I was hand-rolling them while still learning what I was doing. (Factory max'd experimented Comps though).
35-38 charges
Potency 100-120
Effect 245 (capped by my resources at that point)
Range 30m/AE 20m
CM Med Use: 50
I think you'd get a load more bang for your buck at 0244 though, the extra 2 boxes gets you Disease and Area-Disease (not 100% certain on this, reasonably sure I have seen AE-Disease-A's that were CM Med Use: 75).
Or, as someone said, buy them and go 0404
