Ok I'm wondering two things here...1) Which is easier to get (and how do you get them...lootable items?)?

and 2) Now I know Rancor bile significantly cuts down the range, but what does Sarlaac do? (I've never seen sarlaac so I don't know what it's stats are like)

Oh ok then. What about Rancor bile then...how do I go about getting that? Is it lootable off of a Rancor? (it would only make sense...)

yeah, lootable off rancors. the basic stuff kinda sucks (5 power, 70 charges), however i have heard of exceptional rancor bile with 16 power.

Yeah, Sarlaac bile has not use as a medicene component, but is part of the needed components to make the bug bomb, which is an npc given quest. Explore, and you will find it.....hehe
