Thread: Poisons & Diseases please help new CM.
I've been using poisons for PvP, and have been quite happy with their effect. I don't normally use diseases in pvp, unless to deter persistent enemies that keep coming back, as I personally think it's too close to grief play (just my opinion--no flames from disease fans, please).
Not sure what use diseases have in pve unless you plan on only using diseases and poisons, as I believe the disease allows you to get around the limit DoT limitation on incap'ing (though I believe this is going to be "fixed"?). If you're decent with a ranged weapon, there shouldn't be a need for diseases in pve.
Hello My names Azael and I'm an MCM on tempest right now. For PVE unless your fighting something with alot of ham or if your soloing using poison is pretty much pointless. Now if you are fighting something with alot of ham definitely layer diseases and poisons on it.
As diseases tick and add wounds they add 1/10th of the wounds to battlefatigue which in turn adds more damage to poisons and the diseases themselves. This is very nice for krayt/kimo hunting because of late i have organized groups headed out to scout on my own, located a krayt engaged it and kited it for awhile then a big group(not mine) will show up and attack but by the end of the battle i have been able to outkill groups of atleast 8 people ![]()
For pvp i have been having some problems lately due to people thinking that we are way overpowered, and in some cases we are, but i have been griefed repeatedly by getting incapped then they dont db me and camp my incapped body. i stand up they incap me again, rinse repeat, and sometimes this can go on for like 4 or 5 incaps for some reason. So needless to say i have mind/focus/will area disease c's made and i stack these on top of my area poisons just to piss people off and since they waste my time i waste their time by making them sit in a cantina for half an hour.
