Thread: When you don't have resources for Advanced Components?

What do you do when you don't have the resources for making advanced components? Right now on my server there is no Titanium Aluminum. Since I can't craftAdvanced Infection Amplifier, is it possible to make a suitable IA with good available resources (apart from camping geo cave just hoping to get some spider venom). I haven't gotten around to experimenting a lot because I just made MCM. How do you make the best of limited resources? I was wondering if anybody would be willing to share their wisdom with the community here.

Well, first thing is you can try to buy the resources (keeping in mind they will be expensive).
That aside, I handle it exactly like I handle normal crafting. Find the best stuff I can, get potency to be about 100, and drop the rest in effectiveness. You will find that without Advanced IA, you should be able to get an individual poison C to be around 275 -290 effectiveness. Not the best, but nothing to scoff at.

If you can't find any resource vendors with titanium aluminum, try getting in touch with another CM that would give you 28k or so to hold you over until the next spawn. If that fails, the weaponsmiths may have some, with titanium aluminum being needed for the DXdesignated ranged weapons.
