Thread: New combat bug I found in creature battles
Scenerio: Poison creature let it tick a few times, while I run around. Run in a player build structure.
Result: The HAMs of the creature reset to like there was no damage caused at all. the poison stays in effect, shows to be ticking, but no damage is occurring.![]()
Tests: I can step out of the house, when it ticks, the creature goes aggro and starts taking damage again, but as soon I step back in the house HAMs reset. I did this and ran around till it got the creature to +1, then ran in the house, voila!! he was all full again.![]()
Other tests:
Poison + weapon attack, run in house = reset.![]()
Poison + pet attack, run in house, store pet = damage stayed
, but I stepped out let it tick one time, ran back in house = reset.![]()
Weapon 1st + poison, tick once, run in house = reset.![]()
Pet attack, run in house, store pet = damage stayed
, back out, poison, tick once, back in house = reset.![]()
Weapon, run in house = reset.![]()
Poisons used and creatures attacked:
Health Poison C,Area Health poison C, and Mind Poison C
Krahbu, Humbaa, slice hounds, and paralope - just what I had around the house.
Running in the house had no affect on diseases, it continued to tick and cause wounds.
I never encountered it until this patch, and I would do it all the time. It is how I took down the big crearutes, since I have no real blaster type weapons. I guess i was lucky, until now.![]()
