How far can you throw a football? How far can you shoot a rifle? I'll put 10 creds on you shooting the rifle further.

I had my first run in with an overt Imp CM yesterday, and I finally understand what my compadres are talking about. I got hit from around 85m with athrown CM weaponthat took away most of my HAM. I have no porblem with that. The difficulty lies in the fact that The CM was out of range of my rifle.

I don't want a nerf on your thrown weapons. They are your power tools, and I would not want them taken away. The pain I felt at the T-21 nerf(s) I would wish on no one, but the system is obviously messed up. Rifle range needs to be pushed back. The DEVs have said that there was progreming issues with doing this, but we know that was a lie because of what they did with turret range. There is no reason for rifles to be limited to pistol range, and there is every reason for you, the illstrious CMs, to support a change. There are plenty of sophmoric riflemen out there that, having gone through what I did yesterday, would come back and scream for a nerf, and we all know how nerf-happy the DEVs are. I don't want that to happen. You don't want that to happen. The only way I see to prevent a nerf to CM is to get the range on rifles pused back, back past 90m. Please help us and yourselves. Support this change.

Only way a CM can get that kind of range is using very expensive very high quality resources and/or advanced components. Factor in the fact these are disposable and you'll see we pay ALOT for that range. Now, with the recent changes to our resources becoming more available, even 100m range is possible. So if you push back rifles to 90m then we will just make poisons with a range of 100m.Will come back to the board and ask for an increase in range again?

Solution? /shrug Maybe let rifle range be experimented? got me I'm not a weaponsmith...
