Is there a slash / command for using area stimpacks? Right now I just toss the pack on my toolbar, but when it runs out in battle it is a pain since I have to go to inventory and pull out another one.
For doctor i have /healdamage target or /healdamage self.
Any help is appreciated as I am working on refining my macros

/healdamage target will automatically select a ranged stimpack from your inventory if the target is beyond 7m

What if you only have area packs and not ranged? Does that still work? THinking about it, I never tried since I usually carry both with me.

yes, area packs work the same way, as they too are ranged, they just have an area affect at the end.
The only problem would arise if you had both an area and single target ranged stim in your inventory. Im not sure which of the two it would pull from.

I keep both simple and ranged stims in my inventory and then use /healdamage to get single people.
For area Stims I generally have 2 on my toolbar (in F3 and shift+F3) so I can wait till after battle to replace one that gets used up. These i store in a separate pack, otherwise /healdamage will try to use them instead of ranged stims sometimes.

I do the same as Tringard.
When having area and ranged in your inventory, /healdamage will always pick Area stim, for me at least. Even when the target is in range for my Ranged stim, I still get "target out of range" message.
What i do is I leave Ranged and Simple stim in my inventory, put Ranged stim in a pack and put it in my toolbar.

In general I have to use the area stims more often than the single target ones. What I do is leave the area in my normal inventory along with a normal stim E so that by hitting the heal button it will be auto used. I place the single target in a toolbar slot but keep the pack in my back pack. That allows me to use it off the tool bar with out having to worrie about which one the game auto selects.
