I'm just curious what kinds of poison and diseaes other CMs are using in Pvp. I use both poison and disease on the mind, but is there a better way?

For PvP Mind poisons are your best bet, since that damage can't be healed well. Combat Medics can, but with that wound cost its not something you can just throw around.

There is some difficulties with the +1 HAM business since the poison won't incap them anymore. You may be able to do your normal attacks with any weapon and get that last point. Depending on the guys regen rate, strength of your attack, and when the poisons last tick was you may or may not get that last point of damage. If you use a rifle or have some other mind damaging attack you are set.

What you may want to do instead is use a poison that comlpiments your weapon of choice (action for carbines or health for pistols). You can go nuts with the DOT attacks, stack HealthShot1 and HealthShot2 with Health Poison C and Health Area Poison C and your target will be tacking a lot of damage every few seconds. More realistically poison + bleed + your weapon attacks should be sufficient damage.

The only problem with action and health damage is that it is healable. Since the timers for that have ben fixed a master medic can heal himself every 3 seconds. Not everyone is a master medic though, most are novice which is a 6 second delay.

Really you have to match the poison to your play style. They don't act very fast, 300 damage every 6 seconds will take a while to take some one down. Then it will stop at 1 point and you need to step in and finish them. So if its not doing damage that lines up with what you are doing the poison may not help you very much.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

The quick answer is don't use them. They aren't really a good tool for PvP or PvE combat. The diseases cause wounds to the target. These wounds collect in the part of the pool that has already been damaged, so it will not cause additional damage.

If you are going after the Health or Action bars you can use Disease to create a type of unhealable damage. Since generally speaking healing wounds isn't as common on the battlefield as healing damage. If you are working the mind pool tehy aren't worth the trouble, you'll be more effective using poisons and your rifleman specials.

I beg to differ. In mass PvP poisons are gone after cloning but you will still have the blackbars after diseases. Yea in small scall they might not be too useful. I went ahead and made mind diesese.
