the patch isnt even out, you have no idea whta it will do with high end poisons vs high end buff packs

even if the really prepared people with good janta blood resist packs (like the ones im making 182 pwr jants blood ) can negate you, there will still be people u can easily pick off with your uber spider venom crap that you camped for

i forsee people using donkuwah poison in their stuff cause if i remember from when i was cm, it add an assload to potency

heres the deal: u guys should be combat healers that can pick off the unprepared with efficiency (which is what will happen after the patch)

this is not a huge uber nerf, rather a fix

maybe pvp will be fun again

and this wont effect your pve at all, except now you can do all those monsters that poison that much easier

whatever....

CM's ( i am one) get to be upset...fix, nerf, whatever.

it feels like a nerf cuz the area heal stuff is being given to docs. if we are supposed to be battlefield healers...then let us.

No one ever complained about either recieving a health or action poison while PvP'ing, is was all about the mind.

In lieu of the 75% reduction, they could have add mind heal to the existing stim packs.

/agree

yes you can heal mind, at the take of your own Mind stats, substats, and BF.

Area heals and heal mind are just not enough to warrant the 189 SPrequired for the profession....

Because we dont have a point anymore bud.

Doctors have huge, multiple healing powers. Combat Medics will have tiny offensive powers and tiny, restricted healing powers.

The reason everyone is crying nerf is that with what we have seen on test Doctors will be the real Combat Medics, and the Combat Medics will be the hobo in the back ally ents will go to see about getting diseased.

I agree though, they could have just applied 75 % damage reduction in PvP as any other combat profession but it's being done and CM's have had their time of being the "über" people. Just like other profs have had their time, even CH's had their time.

Sorry.

To the last poster-- do you really feel the best way to make this game fun is to wait for a people to take advantage of a profession and then nerf the hell out of it? It's BS to talk about professions "having their time." I agree that combat medic is overpowered, but instead of evaluating, balancing, and improving theclass it will likely soon be turned into a profession nobody will ever want to have.

Then why don't you spend 169 skill points to get it?

I'm so tired of hearing that Mind Heal is worth 169 skill points. It's not. Trust me on this one as a player who has used it several times. No it is not worth 169 skill points. If it came at master Medic... it might be worth the skill points. But even that is debatable.
