Tex, Correspondents, brethren alike, what are the Developers going to give Combat Medics now that innoculations and resistances are live today? There is no use trying to apply combat medicines anymore and certainly trying to find out who is pretiected and who is not is a mere waste of valuable time in battle.

I am requesting the input of Combat Medics. Trolls, Noobs, and Nubzores need not apply an opinion here. You are well aware who you are. Doctors, and everyone else not a Master Combat Medic.

Gents, with the ratios of application to resist so out of balance, even creatures being unable to apply anymore (I see a creature strike forming), what shall a Combat Medic do in battle.

I had an interesting experience the other day. Fellow guildies and Imps alike readied for a mini Rebel invasion. I was not interested in preparing though I had a health and action enhancement on, brandy, and my casual outfit. The fellas ran down to meet em, engaged, needed healing, I healed, cured, healed mind with wounds, threw poisons, disease, watched triple incap, game over -- I was given the opportunity to press the "I WIN" button.

While running around, healing and curing myself and my pards, I began thinking how this will be forever changed and how thispublish will forever change combat. Any profession applying poison and disease will have to switch to new tactics like fire or forever waste time trying to apply poisn and disease.

Beside a weak form of mind heal, rangedand area stims, what more does a Combat Medics have??? What should we receive as compensation for the loss of our offensive ability??

we should receive a patch where the areacures are only half as effective as the single cure....at least...... and a loot drop that isn't dependant on one single creature. Some of those voritor lizards give some nasty poisons, how about we get some of their glands.... Or maybe a componenet from the GDKs that gives us a nice disease.
