I did some testing of the new area cures with a couple of friends.
The area cures used were 590 and 390 strength (around that). The poison used was 343 effect.

About 30 applications of poison were done, and the cures healed them every time on the first try.
Now, according to Texxie, they are supposed to work on a 1 to 2 basis (1x cure strength vs 2x poison effect), meaning that these cures shouldn't be able to cure 100%, which they do.
Has anyone else tried this? Is it a bug or working as intended?

My guess is it uses the same curing formula as the single target cures. Which means that a master doc with +25 injury/wound clothes will heal at 2.25 times the rating of the pack.

One would hope it's a bug but I expect it is working as intended. The Nerf CM was yelled loud enough, long enough that they did. No other prof had been hit hard enough that they can be 100%negated all the time by a lesser prof using lesser crafts. The TC tests showed the same results and nothing is mentioned regarding it for the patch fix. Strange how area cures are that much more powerful then the singles isn't it......

Yupp, you're right. Tested it with really crappy cures, and they healed exactly 2.25 * strength. Gawd, those things are too good.

Poison, Fire and Disease cures work off the same formula as our poison application does. However their bonus is based off Wound Treatment skill.
