Not only is there a template sticky, this question is asked a good half dozen times a week...
I see that you're new to the forums so I'll explain the forum etiquette and rules a bit:
- Before Posting, check the the stickies to see if your question is there.
- Next, look down a little on the first page, if its a popular question (like this one) there may already be a thread there.
- After that, do a search (at the bottom of the page). Theres a 99.994% chance your question has been asked before.
- Lastly, if you can't find the answer to your inquiry no matter what, then you post
.
Hope this helps

Im a master CM / Rifleman and thats how I will stay.
Pros:
Death in groups, death from range.
Mind poisons + Head 3 with a nice Jawa is a rediculous combination, at least within the current combat system.
Cons:
LOT of SP to get that combo. You have 4 extra SP, which are a waste unless you get 4 FS boxes.
Virtually no melee defense. No significant state defense. Block and ranged defense you get helps, but without any defenses in CM or Medic you are at a sever disadvantage to straight combat professions.
Advice: If youre going to do it, roll with at least one melee friend. I can kill anything that walks or breathes if I have a TKM / Fencer with me. But don't duel anyone but another CM / Rifleman.

So you use a Jawa Ion rifle for pvp? Is this better than the T21? Im working on rifleman right now, for pvp along with my combat medic. I currently use a T21 though, i was under the impression it was the best for pvp and pve.... but i havent read anything about it on the forums...

You probably know this already but ill explain anyway
T21: Energy Damage, Damage1500 (approx.)
Jawa Ion: Stun damage, Damage900 (approx.)
Average set of compo: 80% Energy Resists, 40% Stun Resists
Damage Inflicted to enemy player;
T21: 300pts (approx.)
Jawa Ion: 500pts (approx.)
Hope u get it now

Don't forget about PSGs though, they'll put quite the damper on your stun gun. Best best is to use a DXR6-b IMO for the amazing accuracy and non-PSG resisted Acid Damage.

You're comparing an very good exceptional or Krayted Jawa against an average T21. Not everyone has a Jawa of that caliber plus a Krayted DXR-6B will beat the Jawa and is not affected by PSG's. Jawa's generally have gimpy accuracy too so you're still better off with the dxr. AP2 is also nice.....
Come to think of it you must have a really really nice Jawa as I've never seen on do that much damage per shot with either HS3 or SS2. Either that or you forgot to add a power up to the T21 when you did the test.

Bingo. If you're going after someone with a PSG equipped the DXR6b is great. But, if you see someone wearing a belt on top of their armor, smack 'em with the Jawa
