Combat Medic Archive

So I'm loading proton missles into my ship today, and I happen to have some disease and poison packs in the root of my backpack. Guess What? It gave me the option to load them as ordinance for my proton launchers. Normally, I'm a bit scheptical of using up good poisons and diseases, but I thought, "What the h3ll, I'll just make some more!"

Patrolling the Kessel PvP Zone:

Here I am, loaded to the teeth with MAD-C's and MAP-C's 200 uses to boot, and I run into an Imp in an Advanced Tie. Well, this is a better time than any to try it out. So I let him have it with the disease. Yup, right through his shields...he probably didn't have resist buffs...his fault I guess. (note:I had to get real close, as I can only shoot these 25m...I experimented with effectiveness...sue me...also, you get this weird 4 second animation of your ship rolling to the right, and you can't do anything while it's happening.)

I hit the boosters and run like h3ll. He chases me for about 80 seconds. I guess it was around 80 seconds, because this is when his first incap happens. I bet he wishes he had taken that extra 3 minutes and got a mind buff. While I'm wondering why he hasn't hit the Muon, I message a friend, light up a cig, go to the bathroom, and checking the auction forums, andhe has already dropped again. Second Incap. I would laugh, but no one can hear you laugh in space, so i just hum to myself. After finishing the third chapter in "War and Peace", the third incap hits. Man, this space thing is time consuming.

While discussing this odd, but interesting occurance over guild chat, another pilot of ours has already equipped a Mind Fire DOT pike to his X-Wing. Yeah, and you thought the disease thing was crazy. He meets me in at my coordinates. Have you ever had your ship rammed with a Pike? It's crazy! We dueled once, and I couldn't compete. Now I wish I had a bigger payload for more fire blankets.
