I know you're shooting for realism here but what we really need to be focusing on is having a better defined role. Pulling the pin and tossing a real grenade takes both arms too but we let it slide in this game anyway (if you tried to pull it with your teeth they would shatter).

Don'tcha just love that poison/stim/disease throw animation? I sure do. Them water ballons have given my toon very relaxed back musciles, a limber right arm, and an overdeveloped left arm (from holding my gun back while I toss. I'm a little concerned, I have to use my T21 as a walking stick while throwing poison now).
Anyway, anyone else notice the pre-combat U/R/B in the air? I have. The pistoleer forum is a-buzz with activity over the dual weilding concept. Reading this got me all excited, so I decided to tip a few to relax. Then, whilesitting at my keyboard in a drunken haze, I had a revelation: Dual wielding was mentioned then removed from the equation. Pistoleers and just grasping straws now hoping they get something like that anytime soon as well as fencers although with the coding needed it probably wont hit till their profession revamp....in like 9months to a year from now. Anyway with the combat revamp in full force they might not need to dual wield when its completed.
"ONOES!" I thought, "How will Pistoleer/Combat Medics dual weild AND throw poison?" How do we avoid friendly fire? How can a martial artist take down creatures who would normally eat him in under a second? How can ranged weapons do so little damage compared to melee weapons? How do you cure a disease in under a second without ever having to diagnose the patient (is it smallpox or the clamydia)? How can we fire our weapons over and over without ever having to reload?
It just didn't sit right with me. I hated the idea that one combination of classes just wouldn't work anymore! I jumped into action like a cheetah on a trampoline, furiously coming up with ideas. Here they are:
- Cyborg arms! Allow combat medics to go on a special quest to uncover special loot that will allow them to go to their local droid engineer and have a third or even fourth arm emplanted onto their person. Ok you're going for realism I can see. Of course if we really had realism then melee people would be scared sensless of ranged people. Thats not the case.
- /pistolboomerang! A unique Pistoleer/Combat Medic move, this would allow a combat medic to toss a pistol (or two!) at their opponent, throwing poisons galore while the pistols strike the opponent, causing serious nosebleed. Has a damage modifier of 3.0X. You throw away your weapon? Sorry bud but unless you have to go pick it back up while leaving you completely defensless you'll have people screaming nerf. That and I'd rather shoot someone than than throw a weapon at them.
- Dancer/Musician/**Combat Medic** Droids! I love dancing jawa. I love the foam effect. But I feel these droids would be of great use to combat medics who often have their hands full. As shown in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, a droid can shoot a small item 64m with ease! Take away our main abilities and give them to a droid? I can hear the nerf screams already. Stim dispensing droids are pretty much worthless for a reason as it would completely take away from the medic profession. No dice there.
- Oral Combat Medicine (Not what you think. You sicken me.)! A Combat Medic can take a series of quests from the combat medic to allow him to have poison packs implanted into his mouth, allowing a close range breath attack. Implants must be refilled once a day. Must be removed before eating. Why have a breath attack when I can throw a poison at point blank range?
Thats all I could think of, but feel free to suggest ideas and I will add them to the list. Don't delay, /sign today!

just remove the throw animation to being able to do it while running if you hate it so much. i think its fair though id rather us keep this and keep the str. of our poisens/diseases we have rather than nerf them and allow us to run like cowards
