Thread: What power Rancor Bile should I use with my 155 strength Spider Venom?

Back in my swordsman days I looted 7 vials of Spider Venom and that began my intrest in CM. I'm currently 3144. I read Hawke's suggestion to use rancor bile with venom to max the nubmer of charges ( great tip btw ). Anyway I've got some yellow highlighted 11 power 144 use rancor bile to go with my spider venom but I want to know if its strong enough or if I should look for better rancor bile? I know spider venom is a non existant drop nowadays and I want to make the most out of what I have.

With those venoms power isnt really going to be the issue, but charges will be, I would try to find a 200 charge bile, but power in your case isnt really and issue. Power on bile affects eff directly, so a 15 power bile would have 5 more eff than a 10. <10 more tick for master> . Thing I really want to say is even tho you've mastered the crafting, you should have a 12 point cm make it, with 12 point made advanced components. Hope I helped. -East

I wouldn't mix them because the bile is going to bring the effectiveness down. In my opinion i'd rather have 40 uses of a poison that can kick bootay then a 200 charge poison that is less potent. I think in PvP it could be the matter of life or death.

Bile doesn't bring the effectivenss down, in fact it makes it higer (though only slightly). What is does hurt, is the range and the AOE.
