No, they shouldn't because that leads us back to the days of "Novice Medic is all you need", where each and every combat template had Novice Medic and nobody bothered to take more Medic unless he was going for Doc or CM.

Enhancers andDroids have to be percentage based. Clothes directly modifythe ability score, so going percentage here is not an option...the problem here is the "diminishing returns" system where going from Healing 5 to Healing 10 does much, much more than going from 100 to 105.

From the "Post Pub 19 healing guide" in the Medic forum:

"* A Master Doctor with 4440 Medic can outheal a MCM on CM heals (Bacta Toss or Bacta Spray) "

This is because of their higher healing modifiers and the guide shows that post Pub19 healing is only dependant on the modifiers; the "improved" and "advanced"contribute absolutely nothing.

This is a slap in the face...unacceptable...something that feels not right. PsiHawk, could you make the devs aware that this is something that should be addressed? Don't think its high priority, I think the docs need some love ATM, but it is just not right.

P.S.: Oops, posted it with the wrong forum name...usual name is NikkiT...damn, wasted one posting for the counter.

Have you seen what an MCM with 4/4/4/0Medic can do with BE clothing and a medical droid?

Pretty nice. To be honest: until now I didn't even think of using a med droid. They didn't used to affect healing before the CU, did they? Just buffing/wound curing.

Hm, got to get me one of those. My usual companion now is a combat probot with a stim dispenser...no one knows about /requeststimpack anyway.

Awesome. I fear a nerf coming. If not for aggro generation, with that level of heals one CM or Doc can keep a group alive easily if he doesn't mess up the timing. (Note to self: force guild to try Necrosis again)

Do we really think an 0000 Medic, with 15 skill points and zero time invested, should be able to heal for 1300+ using HE clothes and a droid? Or that a 0200 Medic with decent Bacta Toss enhancers, +25 clothes, and a droid should be able to heal for 1600+?

They can currently...think about that.

Regarding Necrosis, the trip to Necro should be easy, only agro a couple bugs at a time. Once you get into the chamber however, find the TIE Fighter wing on the right-hand side of the cave, about 2/3 of the way up the hill. Have your rez artist park themselves there, with drag hotkeyed. It is very important that the rez artist does NOT fight. Everyone else in the group should fight, try taking the NK-3 bodyguards out first. If anyone dies, the rez artist carefully comes out and drags them to the safe (TIE Wing) spot, and performs the rez. If they clone, they get kicked out of the room. Once you're fighting Necrosis, try to keep the fight up toward the top, with the rez artist only coming out to drag dead troops down the hill, for a quick rez.

Set the loot to lottery, and don't snivel if the rez artist gets some of the loot, even if they didn't fire a shot. We (yes, I'm the one who stands back at the TIE wing) keep out of the fight to keep you in the fight.

I believe (someone confirm if possible) that any dead bodies INSIDE the chamber will get the badge. I know people who accidentally clone and leave the chamber will NOT get the badge, or lotto chance at the loot.

My guild on Ahazi does 6-8 Necro runs a weekend, never once have we failed.
