Thread: Question about CM Ecperimentation and Assembly Tapes...

Hi everybody! I got 2 questions and would appreciate if somebody could help me out as i am new to CM:

Q: How many additional experimentation points do i get in the crafting process for each +1 Combat Medic Experimentation Clothing Attachment?

Q: Does a higher Combat Medicince Assembly Skill improve the power of poisons and stims?

1, none... you need +10 for 1 extra points +20 for 2 extra points


2, no... only improves your chances of great success/amazing success

But many people told me that almost every CM skilltapes wouldn´t work. Is it the same with the Experimentation?

There are two combat medic tapes which don't work:


-Combat medic use: do not work and will not work for the indefinite future, as designed by the devs

-Combat medic effectiveness: will work up until you total combat medic effectiveness is 100 (which you naturally get at master). There is a hard cap of 100 combat medic effectiveness skill, so at master level, these SEAs (and Nyax necklaces) are "broken"


All other tapes work properly.



Texxie, have we ever gotten an official line as to why combat medic effectiveness has a hard cap of 100? Is this intentional, or a random bug? I personally think that 125 effectiveness isn't too unbalancing, and it would make a lot more sense in my opinion that combat medic effectiveness not be the only skill with this invisible cap (not to mention it confuses a lot of CMs).

I'd love to see these work. My CM "Field Suit" has +25 effectiveness, +25 Ranged INjury Treatment Speed, and now +25 Healing Range.


The Range and Speed tapes work great, but I'd love abit higher tick on the poisons. It really helps on those Krayt Dragons!
