Hey guys I am new to CM crafting I was just wondering where do I find the best resources I plan on starting up a factory and harvestors. I wanna make the best poisons diseases and stims I can but i have no clue where to start. Any pointers would help a ton. Or a list of what are the best resources and where i can find the best quailty ones. Thanks much..

There is no such thing as a "best resource". If the resource fits in a crafting location (as listed in the crafting tool), all that matters is the stats of the resource you are using. The exact importance of each stat is listed in the crafting tool.

If you want to see a list of all theresources you need, you can check the FAQ, or check your draft schematics in game.

These are some of the reasources you will need...

-Non Ferrous Metal

-Insect Meat

-Radioactive (any Class)

-Fungi

-Yavinian Fiberplast
-Eleton Reactive Gas
-Class 2 Liquid Petrofuel
-Tolium Reactive Gas
-Titanium Alluminum
-Class 1 Radioactive

Watch SWGCraft.com for location, current shifts, etc.

...and as jfang said....check out the FAQ for a better explanation.

No, a doctor/CM will not always make better supplies than a CM. A doctor of any kind will make better doctor medical supplies (wound packs, cures, and non-ranged stims), so I am assuming you are talking about combat medic supplies.

A doctor only helps when crafting ranged and area stims, not poisons or diseases. Furthermore, doctor only helps with subcomponents, not with the final combine. So a resourceful combat medic can get a schematic from a master doctor for the subcomponents (paying appropriately, of course). Even then,if you count skill levels of crafting, it is not clear. A master CM will craft a much better ranged stim than a novice doctor, novice CM.

However, assuming you are making area or ranged stims, assuming you do not play with schematics from other people, and assuming youare using similar resources,a CM with doctor will craft better than an equivalent CM without doctor.

If you don't want to pick up the doc crafting then I would just have someone make up a schematic for you to make your own sub components. I did this for a long time. Now I am a CM/DOC as a support character on hunts and as a rezzer in PvP.
