The title says it all.

I know there are a million other more important changes that need to be done, but this is one littledetail that always stuck out to me. I think SOE should hire some new continuity experts.

I'll submit a resume if need be

I see no reason to change the name of area stims to be bacta grenades. Itis entirely possible that an area stim *is* a bacta grenade and a stim *is* a vile of bacta. Area stim is just a name. Much like we don't walk around and call a pencil a "wooden stick which contains graphite.

I hear what you're saying, JFang, but I think your example is backwards. A pencil IS a wooden stick with graphite inside, and a Bacta Grenade IS a medical device that acts as anarea stim. The first is a more specific, defined name for an example of the second. I agree with the first poster that this is a really minor point; I also agree that it couldn't hurt to have someone, periodically, do a Star-Warsy-ness check to see if little, quick things like a name change could be done here and there.

On a side note--combat medic is turning out to be an interesting and fun profession--I've only been at it for a couple of weeks, but so far so good. It's strange--with all of the nerf cries and complaints about PvP ("You took away my 'I win' button!"), I've only been in one PvP encounter. The rest of the time I've been experimenting with using poisons/diseases in the wild and healing my teammates in Vette, Geo Lab, and DWB runs.

Now if they'll just fix pistoleer....

Is a "bacta grenade" an object referenced somewhere already in star wars lore? If so, you are correct, and in my under-informed state I misspoke. However, in that case, it is possible that the are stims we are making are not bacta grenades, and are another type of cure... (I can find a reasonwhy they are not called"bacta grenades" no matter what argument you give me. )

Edit: deleted comments which might be considered trolling. /scold self

I've no knowledge of 'bacta grenades' anywhere in EU, though I may be mistaken.

As for the naming of our medicinal items, I'd assume the lack of use of 'Bacta Grenade' could have something to do with the Continuity issue of certain persons being perhaps allergic to bacta or somewhat immune to it's healing effects.

*shrug*

I'd rather see the 'cloning centers' turned into Bacta Therapy Centers with the Cloning tubes exchanged with Bacta tanks... that would more continuity there then in changing our stim names

For the love of Game do NOT change the name to grenade.

As somone who plays a commando on an alt character I know all to well the pains of trying to use a grenade and how often they miss and the range restrictions. If they change the name, they might even consider making them as useful as a Commando grenade and then where will we be? Throwing 12 stims at no more than a 20m range sometimes less and only hitting about 6 or 8 of them. Not fun.
