Combat Medic Archive

To my joy, Ifound some food that adds 23% disease and poison resistance for twenty minutes, does anyone know if this is just a % off the damage of the disease/poison or is this something like dodge where it will raise the chance of avoiding the poison/disease nuke altogether?

Does this food actually help anything or is it just for non-cm players to have atleast some comfort?

I haven't run the tests myself, but from what I have heard, it effectively reduces the potency of the poison by the amount listed in the food. So in PvE it helps a lot. In PvP where good combat medic poisons are 120+ potency, it has no practical effect.

I personally hope the devs change it to be a blanket resist chance, checked after it is determined that a poison has stuck, but that's just me.
