I am a Master Combat Medic, Doctor 0400 (for buffing and reviving), and Scout 0000 (for harvesting and setting up camps). Currently, I also have some Pistoleer Skills, but I’m not convinced that this is the best “combat” skill to go with my basic template.

My question is, what would be a good complimentary combat profession to dabble in, primarily for PvE, but I would like to do some PvP too? With the above template (minus Pistoleer skills), I have 46 Skill Points left to use. I’ve considered Rifleman or TKA, but can’t decide if I have enough skill points left over to make either worth dabbling in.

Please post your suggestions.

Hey,

In PVP I would dabble in rifleman. It is widely belived that rifleman cant effectively be dabbled in, this is true if its stand alone, but youre a special case being a combat medic.

You can rely on the bulk of your dmg output to come from mind poisons and use rifle to finish off with a quick headshot and ranged deathblow. Sniper shot is frikin sweeeeet.

BTW how are you buffing with a 0400 doc? you need the Doc Knowledge tree to get the med use req to use the decent buffs......0440

You don't have to dable in it. You can be a master rifleman and master combat medic with 3 or 4 points left. You get TN + 50 with combat medic so dropping scout is not a problem.

I was a Master CM / Pistoleer.

I switched to rifles and now I am having a TON of fun!!!

BUY LOTS OF FISHAK and MUON for PVP!! Rifleman plus meds will suck the mind our of ya, but it will be nothing compared to what it will do to your enemies...

Master Combat Medic and Master Rifleman. As Kumi says lots of fishak, though the Muon Gold in an emergency. Breathe of Heaven, Corellian Fried Ice Cream, Glazed Glucose, etc.. are more effective than the spice and you don't get that nasty downer for 3.33 mins.

Buymany 33% mind/16 % max damage ranged powerups.

My template is Master CM/Master Pistoleer (or will be... I'm close

) and I think it works rather well. I know it can't compete with master rifleman/master CM in damage, but once throw distance is reduced, you'll need to get in closer, and that means farther and farther from most rifle's ideal firing range. Also, the ability to run and remain standing to shoot (and actually hit most of the time) compliments CM nicely because when you're on the run waiting for the DOT to hit a couple times, you can still be shooting back and doing some damage without taking nearly as much as a kneeling rifleman does (unless they defense stack >
