...which tree would it be?
I am thinking of dabbling in CM with my Master Pistoleer/Master BH (both earned pre-respec, thank you). Which of the trees would be most effective vs a Jedi? Healing? Poisons and Fire? Something else? Or should I mix and match? I have like 15 SP left after training on Novice CM...
Any opinions appreciated!

that depends on what type of Jedi hunter you are going to be. if you are going to only hunt 80k-132k then take the Chemical Warfare line. they will waist force trying to get rid of the effects, or trying to heal. then just root and pound like every other MBH/ MPistoleer. they are easy, EASY to kill off. no real work involved.
if you are looking for a Jedi with the ability to fight back, and will LIKELY fight back, take higher bounties to get jedi closer to your own combat and skill level. if you are going there, then take the debuffs line because the DoTs will be useless to you. OR take the healing line to make sure you can keep up with a tougher Jedi's ability to heal themselves.

i took xxx4
2 minute snare is no joke
paralyze can get you away for some healing action
thyroid rupture slows down their attacks.
3 useful things.
In my experience, unless you are a mcm, the poison and fire hardly ever stick in pvp.

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like it's either 4000 if I want good heals or 0004 if I want good debuffs/snares. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...

CM 4xxx = great heals, add 1k stims and ruby to it and if oyu play it right you can out last most jedi
CM xxx4 = less potential on its own without being coupled with another CM ability. but still really cool for teh 2 minute snare, paralyze, and the -40 speed
personally, i used to be a MBH/Mpistols/CM 4xxx and i could solo full templates, even MDef/MLS, pretty easy.
so i would suggest going 4xxx CM. it has better potential without other CM abilities.

If you go the debuff route you can try using thyroid rupture enhancers to increase the duration in a long fight. I've not seen electrolyte drain enhancers for sale on Chilastra. Another suggestion - heals are greatly increased by a medical droid. Mine also throws stims at me. -g- You may also want to fool around with a nyax necklace to see if it makes debuff stick more often - I hear they are no longer bugged post cu.

I would do XXX4 and just use stim d's and ruby bliel. Thyroid rupture is invaluable against near templated jedi and electrolyte drain is great for the 140kjedi who run on sight.
