Thread: Grinding through Healing Exp
My technique is to :
1) Sit in Med centre and heal
2) if med centre empty run to cantina and heal
3) if cantina is empty run to med centre and heal
4) repeat above till bored
5) if bored, get missions and randomly heal people on way out and way in
6) got to line 1
There are a couple of easier ways than that. First, get a Master Doc to make some Wound Packs for you since they have the most experimentation on them. If you know a creature Handler and a commando or bounty hunter you just get one of them to flamethrower the Creature guy's pet. Causes tons of wounds for you to heal. Use those wound packs from the Doc and you'll be set. You can macro it as well.
The other way is to get some beefed up Area Stim As. Get a bunch of people to use Tumble to prone constantly. It'll drain their action and you can get 800+ xp for every one Area Stim you use.
Smythe,
Go to an advanced planet and group on missions. Try to find elite brawler professions who are looking to up their weapon/unarmed xp. You get great med xp while doing this and you actually learn that healing as a combat medic is a lot harder than it looks (if the group doesn't have pets). Or if you can find some newer players on a starting planet, offer to heal their group on missions. Newer players are a challenge to heal since they end up running all over the place.
This way you make money & xp, without sitting there healing a bunch of people who are macro tumbling.
Just my opinion, of course.
I probably shouldn't say this, but there is a better way even yet:
1. Fill your first level inventory with stims.
2. Find a partner who has marksman ranged tier 2.
3. Get out the macros...
The "donor" sets up the following macro:
/tumbletostanding;
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
Then place the macro in the F1 slot.
The "healer" sets up the following macro:
/healdamage;
/pause 16;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
place the healing macro in your F1 slot.
Now, the devs know about this, theycreated the code that allows for it to happen. They also put an 80,000 healing exp cap on so that you have to train up the levels periodically or waste a lot of stims while you went to watch a movie.
Use it if you wish, it is a feature built into the game for a reason. Be advised, you can't do anything else with the character while you aretumbling. no crafting, no trading, nothing but chat with your friends.
my friend went from 0 medic to master of all doc and cm trees except the crafting trees in less than two weeks by raiding with our pa everynight
