Thread: Any pointers for a Combat Medic in training.
completely off the point of your question (and I apologise for that) but where in your holo does it suggest skills to take?
On the point of the question. get the basic commands sorted (like heal / tenddamage, heal/ tend wounds) and use these basic commands to heal the Green HUD for entertainers in a Cantina. I've been doing this and steadily getting the XP,
Also if means you meet other injured players healing their battle fatigue and you can escort them to the hospital for more intense treatments.
I got the same from a holo and found a much more interesting way to get through medic--find someone trying to learn a melee combat profession. My friend wanted to learn TKA (he was 3/0/0/0 brawler) and I needed to learn Master Medic (to get novice CM). I would just follow him around and heal him while he fought. He was able to take down enemies for 3-5k unarmed experience, making things go much faster for him (admittedly, I helped him here quite a bit as wellby bleeding his targets first). Using this method, I was able to get 4/4/2/4 medic in a few hours. Continuing like this, CM should be easy to do (and a LOT more fun than healing an entertainer in a cantina). I also feel it is much more in the spirit of the combat medic.

I'm thinking about going CM later on in the game, a few weeks, and what resources do you need to make the adv. posions so i can start stocking up on them

huh? It doesn't suggest skills. It just states, "To Continue your path, you must Master Combat Medic" or something like that... but it doesn't say anything about skills. You must "use" your holocron to get this message, you cannot get it from examining it.
