I don't mean to hijack your thread here, but good job on that video. That was pretty cool.

It was most likely the Nyax necklace and it has +5 combat medicine effectiveness?

Well it doesn't do anything for a master CM, since we are capped at 100 effectiveness. Could be useful for a CM dabbler, but I'd doubt you get more than 50-100k for it.

Well I have a clothing skill tape that is a +8 to combat medic effectiveness and I am a Master my skills show my effectiveness at +100/+108. This does seem to work. I had some weaker poisons and diseases and they stuck to targets better. Just my too sense. But for the CM medical use should help if you are not a Master, to use highter level poisons and diseases.

Yes, it shows 108 in your skill box, but it doesn't matter, because you still function as if you had 100. We are capped at 100. (and effectiveness has nothing to do with how well your poisons stick).

Bamboozle is correct. the effectiveness and med use tapes for CM DO NOT WORK. They simply have not been removed from the Loot List yet.

Effectiveness tapes do work, but the hard cap on effectiveness for a combat medic is 100. Our CM use at master is 100, but +25 would give someone 4/4/0/4 the same bonuses as master I believe..

Any kind of combat medical or medical use skill tapes do not work. Imagine finding a combat medic use +10 tape, you could use a ranged stim without even having novice medic.. Not a great ranged stim, but a good ranged B stim could heal for 750 at 25 meters with that use..

Just wth does cm effectiveness do in the first place is what I want to know. Anyone ever stop and think about how vague the description is?

It amounts to, "It helps you do CM stuff".

CM effectiveness is the modifier applied to the effectiveness of poisons and diseases. A +100 modifier means the poison will tick for twice the pack's rating (same thing with disease, assuming 0 BF).
