Thread: A humble question from a Noobie CM

Hi guys
I decided to take up CM with swordsman for the ultimate PVE combo. Alas I didn't realise u need the combat tree of marksman and have kinda overbudgeted on points, blunder!
I am still going to probably go up the CM line only now i am going to do 4004. This leaves me with a low 75 CM Use however. How good diseases and poisons could i expect to get at that level? I'm not looking for super evil ones just something to complement my sword skills. Fail that would I be better off dropping CM and going for carbineer/rifleman, though i like the group healing aspect of CMs too :S
I need your advice!

well, I would suggest master CM and getting what you can of Swordsman. It would be much more effective. I've seen people who are 4404 TK and master CM, and vice versa, and the master CM side seems to win.

Well you'll get very good single poisons, but the 500 tick area poisons are 90+ use, meaning master only.
Pretty much the same thing with Diseases.

I'm only 0-0-0-4 and my single poisons tick for about 300. I can't use disease but I think that's for the best since I find disease to be the most overpowered aspect with CM's. CM 4-0-0-4 will do fine unless you want to use area poison/disease. But if you want to go MCM then swordsman is a pretty good profession to dabble in. Even a 0-4-0-4 swordsman using a good scythe is a formidable opponent in pvp, won't have the defenses but as a MCM you wouldn't really need any.
