We don't know, because we don't really know how important the skill mods are. All we know is that the poison (presumably single target) skill is in the novice combat medic box, with some variations upone of the lines. I definitelysuspectthat given the reduced pre-req costs, combat medic will be ripe for dabbling.

im going to go ahead and just say no right now. just by basing how they placed the mods and abilities in the other professions, they seem to be really afraid of the "dabbler." does not look like they want anymore dabbling in anything so youll probably have to be master or nothing at all. its a pity really because dabbling is one of the things that makes swg, swg.

The Chemical Warfare line seems to be all you need for poisoning.
If you only get that line you get no armour certs, +10 ranged defence and +10 Melee Defence.
You miss out on Advanced Infect from the Master box, getting only Improved Infect and Improved Deuterium Toss (I'm guessing there will be advanced Deuterium Toss at Master).
75MedicalWarfare Efficiency as opposed to +100 at Master.
I'm going to go for 4/4/0/0 CM (the ranged healing line, missing out on all the Bio-Suppression) and 2/4/0/0 Doc, which should be enough to remain a useful Combat Doctor.
