Thread: CU Master Level Pistol Cert from an RP Perspective

I have been a RP Stormtrooper for a year and a half now. I planned on going CM since the day I started this character and I am looking forward to the new role and supporting my fellow troopers in combat.
However, we are a strict RP guild and more than likely, the master level pistol will be a banned weapon that we will not be able to use. Why? The name. Why in the world would a Stormtrooper use something made by the Alliance? Any possibility that it can have a more generic name since its the only cert we get? Would any one care if the name was changed?

I glanced at your guilds site and WOW you guys are dedicated to RPing heh anyway I dont think they'll change the name of pistol because it may have something to do with the rebels, im not even sure if the pistol name was ment to be for us rebs.

I think the empire would use any weapon that worked to its advantage, just b/c the rebels designed it doesn't mean an imperial medical officer wouldn't carry one w/ him on his belt, like how you sometimes see pics of grunts in Vietnam carrying ak-47s.

Can't you just RP that you got it of a Rebel that you killed? Obviously the rules of RP'ing have changed much, since I have been away.

Well, it's more about uniformity than anything else.
Although I guess you could look at it the other way around - an Alliance Disruptor disrupts the alliance
