Since they changed the way weapons are certified, will we still get to use our nifty pistol? Weapons are no longer cert at a certain box, it is all about combat lvl. Hopefully someone will master cm soon and we can get an idea of what lvl we end up at. Plus if cm doesn't increase out combat lvl enough, we may not be able to wield some other weapons that ppl with 2 elite combat profs can, as they will be at a higher lvl than us.

The way it seems to work in practice, is that if you get a cert for a gun, you can use it regardless of combat level, but you can use certain guns that you are not certed for if you have a high enough combat level.

So as it stands CM's should keep the gun at master.

All could change though.

the cert for the cm pistol is master cm

Yes you will get to use it.

I have been testing CM on TC since it went up, and once you get to MCM you are combat lvl 55 and the pistol only needs lvl 54. Mind you i did have pistols 1-4 in marksman as well to get a few more specials.

I have just made a Master pistols master CM and the 2 work really well together.
