Below is a cost analysis of CM meds, as the schematics currently stand on TC3. Costs were caluclated assuming 100 cpu for creature resources, and 5 cpu for harvestable (flora and inorganic). Charges on the new meds was assumed to be 200 per pack, which is consistent with early TC results. Costs of comparable current meds are presented as well, when available.
Costs are manufacturing costs, RETAIL COSTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE 3-5x.
Bacta Toss - 200 Avian meat, 150 dolovite iron, 225 fiberplast, 7 ADM, 7 ARC, 7 AIA
Cost per pack = 27,265 cr (136 per shot) Current Ranged Stim D = 29 cr/shot
Bacta Spray - 200 Flowers, 150 plubnum iron, 225 inert gas
Cost per pack = 8265 cr (41 per shot) Current Area Stim C = 34 cr/shot
Neurotoxin - 200 veggies, 150 colat iron, 225 liquid petrol, 8 ADM, 8 ARC, 8 AIA
Cost per pack = 9035 cr (45 per shot)Current Poison C = 34 cr/shot
Deuterium Toss - 125 insect meat, 150 greens, 175 polymer, 200 radioactivity, 9 ASDS, 9 ACRDM, 9 ARC
Cost per pack = 20,345 cr (102 per shot) Current Disease C = 66 cr/shot
Thyroid Rupture - 200 bone, 150 Kamris iron, 225 radioactivity, 9 ADM, 9 ARC, 9 AIA

Traumatize - 200 reptile meat, 150 mythra copper, 225 radioactivity, 9 ADM, 9 ARC, 9 AIA

As you can see the cost of all of the new meds is higher than the previous, especially the Bacta Toss. Remember, these meds are optional and provide a much lower impact than the old ones (10-30%).
I'm afraid that unless they become more cost effective no one will bother with them. My proposal, as listed on the doc forum is to reduce all components and resource in half, and to remove all creature resources from stims (in this case Bacta toss). Those changes would go a long way to making these meds more feasible.
