I have toons. I want to change their templates when the CU hits. I need confirmed information on what I can change my current templates to. Vice versa, and perhaps more importantly, I need to know what to grind my new toons in so that I can be the templates I want post CU.

For example, I am now CM Rifle on my main. But I am interesting in going MBH MCM. My other toon is TKM CHEF MERCHANT. I want to wipe out the TKM and go all crafter by adding ARMORSMITH.

I need solid stuff, not guessing.

Can anyone help.

The current respec being put out for test will not allow you to do what you want. (As just released on Chilastra today)

Rules currently are:

Combat skill only

Elite tierskill points towards elite skillpoints

Novice tier skillpoints towards novice skillspoints

Nothing to/from crafting allowed

Nothing to/from novice to elite or visa versa allowed

The good news is you will be regaining 42 skill points from medic (for many templates). The bad news is you will have to grind those all into upper tier boxes most likely.

I've been campaigning for the following:

"Currently there are numerous and complex stipulations about what Skill Points you can reallocate and how you can reallocate them. I will be campaigning for a simple unrestricted reroll. If you have 250 SP spent now (0/250) you should be allowed to re-do your entire template however you choose to with no restriction (like when you use a character building tool).

This combat upgrade has affected virtually every profession in some sweeping way, not solely combat professions. Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths have been affected. Entertainers have been affected. Doctors and Combat medics have been affected. Essentially the only professions that remain unaffected are Architect and Politician. These are sweeping, widespread reforms that necessitate sweeping widespread adaptation by the playerbase. It is only fair that the developers allow us the opportunity to adapt our characters with it.

Furthermore it seems to be easier to impliment into the game system. Blue frogs or something like it could temporarily be installed into Live servers with a one time template reallocation usage. The precedent for this isnt entirely new either as I seem to remember early unlock Jedi being allowed to respec their toons.

Ifyou change the game, you should allow us to change with it. Allow an easier transition whenever possible when dealing with the CU. A little customer service goes a long way."

well if crafting isnt allowed to transfe rto crafting i.e. current master doc/master cms to bio eng 004 that is uttlery stupid as for one we already have to gather all new resources to craft stims if we go bio eng. SO why not im sure most of the crafting population doesnt want to grind just to craft and like myself were alrady masterds in 2 professions.
