Thread: Switching to Combat Medic...several questions.
I am thinking of switching to combat medic. I have several questions I hope someone might be able to help me out with answers.
1. I have seen the schematic databases - its huge and not being a medic yet I get lost. Can someone break down for me which meats we need and which stats are important for them? I am a Ranger now and before I switch I want to collect for myself a lifetime supply.
2. Which is the best item to craft in order to level crafting? I don't have survey and don't plan on it. My plan is to grind up the crafting using the ideal item. I want to collect a large amountof the resourcesneeded for this item.Once I max out crafting, I can buy the resources I need since I'll need far fewer. I know the ideal item for doctors is the advanced BEC unit. Is there a better one for CMs?
I greatly appreciate any responses.
ok, best grinding item is the same for doc and CM....so u need the resources....
As for things u NEED? Ifu want to use poisons alot, u willl need a vast supply of all sorts....reactive gas's, radioactive solids, aluminum, the list goes on and on...i think i am having THREE guildys worth of slots to cover my supply needs. As for skillz, i would go for range and knowledge, if u cannot master the skill, and get someone to make u the posin packs, but its not adviseable..
I am fairly new myself to CM, so this is all i can tell u right now
Medic/Doctor/CM all share the same experience types. Healing XP and medical crafting XP.
For craft grinding, Advanced BEC's are the way to go. They give great XP, and craft very quickly. The biggest advantage of ABEC's is that they require Lok Wheat and Tatooine fiberplast. Both resources are always on the server so it's easy to get. The best XP for the time spent crafting is actually the advanced CM subcomponents, but they require type specific resources that are hard to attain and only rarely on the server. But hey, if you have a ton of Class 2 Liquid Petrochemical Fuel, you can put a harvester down for any Yavinian Fiberplast and you will grind 1/3rd faster then doing ABEC's. You may want to use the next crafting stage macro and it will save you alot of time. Still, grinding the whole CM crafting tree is like doing 2 boxes of WS. Its not hard at all. All the CM and Doc subcomponents are in the medic tree. The adv CM combat (poison/disease) subs are granted at master medic.
just a quick question,
How do you safely sample radioactive materials and store them?
I recently became a cm, and i am investing 150k into harvesters and ect for cm supplies. Radio active is in every poison you make, and it is killing me. (quite lierally, a bald wookie here). Any help would be verry much appreciated.
I gave up ch, which was a large sacrifice for a wookie. I have learned i suck at making poisons, and need to rely on my master pistolier skills, and a tank of some kind. I am a rebel, so hit and run tactics are always prefered. Especially agaist the supiorior firepower of the imperial commandoes.Any tactical advise for a no armor, master pistolier and 2201 CM both PvE ans PVP would be appreciated.

Either in a mineral harvester or fusion power generator
Manually sampling will cause wounds.
thank you.
so it is just the sample that wounds you not having them in your inventory.
Thank you for the responses to my questions. I will begin storing insect and herbivore meats.
I had one more question/confusion. I noticed the class has tons of poisons and diseases for almost every stat. For PvE, are all of these on any practical use? It would seem a health poison or diseases is all you need. Do poisons take as long as bleeds to kick in?
Is there a difference between poisons and diseases? Not sure I see a difference...
Thank you!
